During this training for pro bono attorneys, the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and experienced pro bono partners will discuss law and strategy for successfully representing detained asylum seekers in Ilinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. CLE (IL) is offered. Attorneys with current cases and those who are interested in representing individuals before the immigration court are welcome.
As this training will build on NIJC's general training on Representing Asylum Seekers, we recommend participants have attended our general training or watched the webinar.
